Charming waterfront cottage overlooking the majestic Petitcodiac River. Come and relax and enjoy the wide open waterfront views. Cozy, newly-updated open concept (full) kitchen and living room featuring great water views. The chalet is fully furnished including all dishware, cooking appliances, linens and towels. Situated in the picturesque village of Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada. Centrally located in the Maritime provinces. 90 minutes to Hopewell Rocks and Fundy National Park, 45 minutes to Parlee Beach and Shediac, 60 minutes to the Confederation Bridge to PEI, 120 minutes to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and 10 minutes to 18-hole Memramcook Valley Golf Club.
Highlights include a front row seat to the Petitcodiac River tidal bores which occur twice a day and come from the world's highest tides in the Bay of Fundy. Tidal bores are found in very few places in the world and Canada's Petitcodiac River has some of the very best. The tidal bore varies from day to day based on the season and the phases of the moon. This video depicts one of the stronger bores that has recently rolled by the chalet. However, your view of the bore will change daily. You can literally watch the tide roll away twice a day!
Relax riverside in our cozy chalet
The back deck affords a view of the water and the BBQ is just a few steps off the kitchen on the side deck. There are a few outdoor games on hand for fun in the spacious backyard and a firepit overlooks the river for cozy sunset views.
The chalet is located a short drive (10 mins) from amenities such as gas, take-out restaurants, liquor store and convenience stores.
There are 2 bedrooms off the living room area. There is one four-piece bath and all rooms are located on one level.
There is a covered porch on the front of the chalet with a wraparound deck.
The cottage offers unlimited high speed Internet and the main room includes a 40 inch TV with Netflix.
There is ample parking for multiple cars or an RV.
The chalet is a short walk to the shore of the Petitcodiac River, sightseeing and views of the highest tides in the world twice daily.

We are two local families who live in the village of Memramcook and have deep roots in the area. We have offered up the Muddy Duck Chalet in hopes that visitors from Canada and around the world will come to experience the history of our Acadian village and the laid back and friendly Maritime lifestyle.
